In 1971 the Common Plea Restaurant opened its doors to the public. Through the years, we expanded and began catering in Pittsburgh to our guests off-site. In 2013 we closed the restaurant. Today, we offer a complete, uncommon experience.
Perfection informs our work as Pittsburgh caterers. Chefs and assistants create exquisite food, managers and planners oversee every detail, and an always-attentive service staff promise to exceed expectations.
The people, that’s the Common Plea difference: Owners John and Donna Barsotti, Corporate Executive Chef Adam Gooch, Executive Vice President Martin Vecellio, and Senior Event Planner Maggie Gooch all welcome you to the Common Plea.
At the Common Plea, each of us devotes our personal attention to you. Whether you’re hosting a small intimate gathering at home or a large celebration at one of Pittsburgh’s unique venues, our comprehensive team will assist you with each detail of the event planning process. We are attentive to every element of entertaining: delicious food and drink, elegant linens and decor, attentive and courteous service. From tasting to toasting, Common Plea Catering will ensure your vision is fully realized.
